Le poste
Increase productivity by optimizing labor utilization and equipment, applying methods of business organization and technology to address production and related problems.
Provide process time estimates to the quote team and perform process simulations of workflow using REFA, MOST, WITNESS, and other standard tools.
Coordinate process planning and setup during NPI, aligning takt time, cycle time, and direct labor requirements.
Review prototyping results, give feedback to NPI and sales, and develop standards through work measurement programs.
Analyze staff utilization, facility layout, production costs, process flow, and schedules to maximize efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
Lead initiatives to increase throughput, reduce costs, and drive Lean, Automation, and Six Sigma projects; may develop cost planning and control systems and support production planning and distribution optimization; travel up to 50%.
