Le poste
A Db2 DBA supports the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise databases in mainframe (z/OS) environments. They ensure data integrity, optimise performance, and manage proper database usage through monitoring and auditing. The role involves collaborating with leadership to define database strategies, advising on data access, and resolving data conflicts. Technical leadership, resource monitoring, and recommending structural improvements are key responsibilities, alongside supporting database management tools and evaluating new technologies. The role requires working independently, including on-call and off-hours support, with complex issue escalation. Skills in Db2 on z/OS, database design, performance tuning, and data security are essential for this position.
