Le poste
As a PRN Medical Assistant, you will float to multiple health centers in Manhattan, performing front- and back-office duties.
Responsibilities include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and maintaining accurate health records.
You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and administer medications, perform laboratory tests, and operate EKGs, as allowed by state regulations.
Administrative tasks include front-desk support, scheduling appointments, follow-up calls, and ordering medical supplies.
Candidates must have national Medical Assistant certification from an approved program or a certificate/diploma with hands-on externship, plus BLS from AHA/ARC; prior MA experience is preferred.
This role emphasizes strong phlebotomy skills, flexibility to pick up shifts across NYC health centers, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
