Senior Civil Design Engineer

This role leads complex civil design tasks with emphasis on NYCDEP sewer and water main design, sewer alignment, chambers, dewatering, and utility coordination.
Extracts information from CAD drawings to prepare engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, surveys, and designs; develops drawings, specifications, and construction documents for procurement and construction.
Interfaces with civil, structural, and geotechnical disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery; conducts technical bid analyses and reviews supplier submittals.
Provides technical guidance to CAD designers/drafters and junior engineers; supports sewer design for DDC SE885 projects and related roadway design tasks.
Supports maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT), staging, utility impacts, and project coordination; ensures compliance with NYCDOT and NYCDDC requirements.
Requirements: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 8+ years of experience, Professional Engineer license may be required; strong NYC project experience (NYCDEP sewer/water main design) and familiarity with NYCDOT/NYCDDC projects.
