A Chemical Engineer role is available in Chester for a specialist manufacturing organisation involved in developing innovative chemical processes. The position entails scaling up processes from laboratory to industrial levels, collaborating with international teams, and travelling to Europe regularly. Candidates should possess experience in chemical manufacturing, process engineering, or research, with a preference for those with practical process development backgrounds. Responsibilities include improving fluorination processes, conducting trials, supporting process design, troubleshooting, and participating in safety activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, relevant industrial experience, and strong analytical skills. They must be willing to travel monthly to Europe and work across multidisciplinary teams.
