An organisation is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to oversee technical projects and manage core IT infrastructure within a growing firm. The role involves delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects from design to implementation, maintaining and optimising cloud and on-premise systems, and providing technical support for complex issues. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers, support security initiatives, and produce technical documentation. Key skills include experience with VMware, Azure, Microsoft environments, networking, and troubleshooting. Desirable qualifications include relevant certifications like Microsoft, Azure, and VMware. This position is offered on-site, requiring in-person attendance in Newcastle.
