Le poste

The Compliance Assistant role involves supporting the delivery of multi-jurisdictional compliance programmes, including policies, training, and monitoring, for a leading global hedge fund in Newcastle. The position requires offering pragmatic compliance advice to various teams and analysing UK, US, and international regulatory requirements. The role entails maintaining and enhancing compliance frameworks, supporting regulatory filings, and monitoring trading activity for market abuse. Candidates should possess strong organisational skills, regulatory knowledge, and a keen interest in financial markets, working closely with senior compliance colleagues and other departments. Experience with compliance monitoring systems and familiarity with FCA, SEC, and MAS rules are advantageous for success in this position.
