An Electrical Engineer with experience in heavy industry is sought to maintain and support electrical systems at a historic aluminium smelter in the Scottish Highlands. The role involves working on transformers, switchgear, protection relays, motors, VSDs, substations, and industrial power systems. The successful candidate will support electrical safety, reliability, and asset enhancement initiatives. Responsibilities include troubleshooting plant breakdowns and supporting maintenance programmes. The position requires a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, with experience in an industrial setting. The role offers a Monday to Thursday workweek, with opportunities for technical development in a unique environment.
