A shuttering carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork to support concrete structures on construction sites. They interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately to ensure precise formwork setup and removal. The role requires maintaining safety standards and working efficiently within site teams to meet project deadlines. Candidates should have experience with pre-cast concrete and a strong understanding of health and safety procedures. Technical skills include proficiency with hand and power tools, formwork techniques, and relevant certifications such as CSCS cards. The position offers an hourly rate of £24 to £25 and involves in-person work at project sites.
