Commercial Construction Estimator

As a Commercial Construction Estimator, you will analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop detailed cost estimates. Prepare conceptual, design-development, and hard-bid estimates for commercial projects, performing quantity takeoffs and breakouts. Solicit, review, and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure complete scope and competitive pricing. Collaborate with Project Managers, Drafters, and engineers during the preconstruction phase and conduct site visits as needed. Assist with value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, and maintain estimating databases and historical data. Track market conditions, labor trends, and material pricing to support accurate forecasting and bid proposals.
