The role involves participating in developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, conducting comprehensive assessments, and reviewing patients' medical and psychiatric needs regularly. The doctor ensures the delivery of safe and effective, patient-centred care while maintaining accurate medical records. They participate in clinical meetings, contribute to service improvements, and comply with mental health legislation and regulatory standards. The position requires a medical degree, GMC registration, specialty training in psychiatry or a related field, and UK Foundation Programme completion. Experience with personality disorders is desirable, and excellent communication, teamwork, and ongoing professional development commitment are essential.
