Le poste
The Manufacturing Engineer at Armstrong Fluid Technology in Manchester is responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting sustainability initiatives. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate workflows, ensure compliance with safety standards, and optimise production layouts. The role involves specifying and overseeing the installation of equipment, maintaining and improving existing machinery, and designing fixtures for manufacturing. The engineer will analyse manufacturing costs and implement lean principles to improve productivity and reduce waste. They develop process documentation, support continuous improvement efforts, and stay updated with industry trends. Strong technical skills, experience with CAD software, and knowledge of quality management systems are essential, along with excellent problem-solving and project management abilities.
