Hays is seeking a full stack developer to design, build and deploy cloud-native applications for a retail client. The role involves developing customer-facing features, building and maintaining APIs and microservices, and improving deployment pipelines while ensuring high code quality. The successful candidate will have strong experience with React or Next.js, Node.js, AWS, REST APIs, and CI/CD practices, with knowledge of modern engineering, DevOps, and agile methodologies. Mentoring and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to support rapid delivery and long-term quality. The engineer will utilise automation, AI tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and software excellence across teams.
