Machine Learning Engineer – Bristol

A Machine Learning Engineer at Rowden develops and deploys AI systems for complex, real-world applications, working across the entire ML lifecycle from research to production. The role involves training and optimising models, scaling training workloads across GPUs, and improving system performance while ensuring robustness and efficiency. The engineer will take end-to-end ownership of data pipelines, model evaluation, deployment, and monitoring, and engage in cross-team collaboration with software, hardware, and systems teams. Candidates should have proven experience in deploying ML in demanding environments, strong ML and maths skills, and excellent Python programming and software engineering practices. A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field is required, with additional skills in MLOps, data engineering, or higher qualifications being desirable.
