An IT Support technician in Swindon assists with Trade Floor and user support, working within a team to manage daily IT operations. They troubleshoot problems in Windows OS environments, manage IT protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, and support telecoms including mobile phones and softphones. The role involves creating and maintaining documentation, following standard procedures, and proactively improving IT services. Candidates are expected to work autonomously and liaise with head office and IT teams to ensure standards are met. A real-time understanding of IT support in financial services and excellent troubleshooting skills are essential for this position.
