A Business Analyst specialising in risk IT in Toronto is responsible for understanding product attributes, designing reporting logic, and liaising with IT teams. They will perform data gap analyses across banking systems, develop requirements documentation, and coordinate testing activities. The role involves supporting regulatory compliance, process improvements, and operational activities related to credit exposure and client data management. The analyst must have experience in banking systems implementation and knowledge of SQL and data platforms. Excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to adapt quickly to new concepts are essential. The position requires coordinating with international teams and occasionally working outside traditional hours to accommodate different time zones.
