A civil engineering project manager is responsible for leading and managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. They collaborate with design teams and stakeholders to review designs, address challenges, and communicate effectively throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves monitoring project progress, managing programmes, and supporting delivery in line with budgets and timelines. Knowledge of NEC4 contracts, project management tools, and strong leadership skills are essential. They ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, interpret technical drawings, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. The position requires experience in civil engineering or construction project management, proficiency with planning software, and understanding of industry standards.
