Business & Finance Manager

The role leads strategic and operational management of the school's financial, business, and support services.
You will drive strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and provide regular financial reporting to the Headteacher and Governing Body.
Responsibilities include payroll, purchasing, expenditure monitoring, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, audits, and local authority policies.
You will oversee contracts, procurement, and value-for-money initiatives, while line-managing the Business Leadership Team and coordinating support staff.
The post involves partnering with senior leadership to support strategic business decisions and resource allocation aligned with educational priorities.
Experience in education finance is preferred, with strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills to operate both strategically and tactically.
