Mechanical Engineer – Wolverhampton

A mechanical engineer is responsible for preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, quality control, project management, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role entails liaising with colleagues and departments to optimise efficiencies while adhering to health, safety, and quality policies. Responsibilities include executing planned preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, inspecting routines, and managing work schedules. The engineer will also contact suppliers for parts quotations and assist in installing machinery such as M924 and Emba models. Essential skills include previous engineering experience, computer literacy, attention to detail, and high safety awareness. Experience in FMCG or packaging manufacturing and knowledge of corrugated packaging or printing are advantageous.
