A Chemical Engineer is sought to support process safety, plant improvement, and operational efficiency within a chemical manufacturing facility in Southampton. The role involves providing engineering support for projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading investigations into safety concerns. The candidate must have a degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline, along with at least five years' experience in a similar environment. Knowledge of COMAH regulations and process safety practices is essential, with experience in plant modifications and process optimisation preferred. Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills are required, and Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
