A chemical engineer in Southampton is responsible for providing engineering support for projects, driving process safety, and improving operational performance on an Upper Tier COMAH site. They monitor KPI and utility performance and support management of change procedures while working with production and engineering teams. The role requires a degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline, with at least five years' experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Knowledge of COMAH regulations, process safety, and continuous improvement are essential skills, and chartered status is desirable.
