An AI Engineer role based in Greater London involves designing and developing enterprise-grade AI solutions, building scalable microservices using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming, and integrating Generative AI technologies into business applications. The position requires developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and AI orchestration frameworks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions. The engineer will optimise AI pipelines for performance and scalability, implement secure cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS, and establish CI/CD pipelines aligning with DevOps practices. They will also provide architectural guidance, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering standards, contributing to the organisation's technical growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, with proven expertise in large-scale distributed systems and AI/ML implementations in enterprise settings.
