A speciality doctor provides high-quality medical care to adults with complex mental health needs at a trauma-informed service in Manchester. They work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists to develop and execute individualised treatment plans. The role involves conducting assessments, ongoing reviews, ensuring safe patient-centred care, and maintaining accurate medical records. The doctor participates in clinical meetings and contributes to service improvements while adhering to legal and regulatory standards. Candidates are expected to hold an MBBS or equivalent, GMC registration, specialty training in psychiatry, and UK Foundation Programme experience. Experience with personality disorders and excellent communication skills are highly desirable skills for this healthcare role.
