Mechanical Engineer

A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant mechanical systems to ensure safety, compliance, and operational performance. They respond to equipment failures, execute preventative maintenance, and support site safety protocols. The role involves managing systems such as pressure and steam, gas, water, and HVAC, as well as lifts and automatic doors. Candidates should have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, experience in similar roles, and strong communication skills. Flexibility to work outside standard hours is required to ensure continuous service delivery. They must be capable of working independently and collaboratively while following safety instructions and procedures.
