Lead response to remediation requests for failures in water and sewer systems through emergency construction contracts.
Oversee procurement and management of emergency repair contracts for water mains and sewers across all five boroughs.
Supervise a team of engineers assigned to oversee repairs, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety standards, and quality control.
Manage contract budgets, inflow of work orders, and project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Generate, update, transmit, and store all contract-related information and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Represent the unit and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and public health protection.
