De functie
This entry-level civil engineer/field engineer role supports transportation construction projects in central Ohio, with duties spanning field oversight and project administration.
Perform field visits, inspections, and documentation of construction activities for roadway and bridge projects (including reading drawings and specs).
Represent the firm at meetings, coordinating with contractors, utilities, and property owners to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Review submittals, prepare change orders and pay applications, and assist with problem solving and project documentation.
Ensure construction work conforms to design documents and applicable codes, while upholding safety and quality standards.
Based out of the New Albany, OH office with central Ohio transportation projects; residency in the Columbus metro area is required.
