De functie
Lead education and care for children ages 2-5, designing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and daily routines.
Implement program philosophy and health guidelines, prepare the classroom environment, and set age-appropriate expectations.
Assess each child's development, document progress, and prepare written reports for parent conferences.
Maintain ongoing family communication with daily updates, curriculum notes, and photos; collaborate with an assistant teacher and supervise aides.
Ensure safety, emergency readiness, and contribute to curriculum planning and staff development.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Education (or related field), NYS Early Childhood Certification (or in progress), at least one year of childcare experience; schedule options are full-time 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with 30-minute break) or part-time 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
