De functie
FindCore is supporting an engineering consultancy in recruiting an environmental engineer to lead geo-environmental, contaminated land, and geotechnical projects from inception to completion. The role involves designing and supervising site investigations and remediation efforts, interpreting ground investigation data, and preparing technical reports and risk assessments. Candidates should possess relevant engineering degrees, UK consultancy experience, knowledge of UK legislation, and project management skills. The position offers clear progression pathways to senior leadership roles, along with flexible working hours and ongoing professional development support. A full UK driving licence and chartered status are highly desirable, with opportunities to lead high-profile projects across sectors. It is a full-time position based in Sheffield, with travel to sites across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
