De functie
A Senior Software Engineer in Manchester will develop and maintain mission-critical full-stack applications using Python and React, supporting global financial markets. The role involves working with diverse data technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB, optimising queries and maintaining data integrity. The engineer will apply best practices in software engineering, troubleshoot production issues, and stay updated with emerging technologies to improve systems continually. Skilled candidates will possess extensive experience with backend and frontend development, cloud platforms like AWS, and DevOps tools, ideally complemented by knowledge of financial services or AI/ML.
