De functie
A Network Engineer with expertise in Zabbix is sought in Milton Keynes to lead the migration from legacy network monitoring tools to a modern platform. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing Zabbix, replacing existing tools such as Cacti Monitoring and a bespoke Asset Tracker within a Cisco network environment. Key duties include tool migration and integration, custom dashboard development, network device updates, and documentation. The engineer will also develop test plans, manage deployment changes, and support the transition to business-as-usual operations. Strong knowledge of SNMP, Cisco networks, and experience with tool migration are essential. Excellent communication and documentation skills are required for this role.
