De functie
Position: Construction Estimator based in Springfield, MA.
Responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and scope analysis to support bids.
Develop bids and proposals while analyzing drawings, specifications, schedules, logistics, and construction methods.
Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor proposals; coordinate scope coverage to prevent gaps and overlaps between trades.
Perform value engineering and cost-saving analyses; compare current estimates with prior estimates for accuracy and trend tracking.
Manage post-bid actions, assist in finalizing subcontract scopes, and serve as a liaison among subcontractors, design teams, and clients; support project coordination with trade partners.
