De functie
A Machine Learning Engineer specialising in computer vision will design, train and evaluate deep learning models for image classification and object detection, optimise and convert models for edge deployment, and manage deployment pipelines within Google Cloud technologies. They will enhance MLOps capabilities, ensure model performance through automated evaluation, and handle model versioning and deployment flows. The role requires strong expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, proficiency in TFLite for edge optimisation, and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services including Vertex AI and Cloud Storage. Skills in Python programming, containerisation with Docker, and experience in managing ML workflows are essential, with additional knowledge in advanced topics like YOLOv8, large-scale data processing, and CI/CD practices being advantageous. The successful candidate will effectively communicate technical concepts, solve complex problems, and work within a hybrid environment in Toronto.
