De functie

Akkodis is seeking a talented Python Developer to support the development and optimisation of distributed software systems for scientific research. The role involves developing robust Python applications, applying best practices like Git, CI/CD, and test-driven development, and working with highly distributed, multi-core environments. The candidate will analyse scientific data and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects of global importance. Skills required include proficiency in Python, understanding of data structures and algorithms, experience with HPC environments, and familiarity with processing frameworks such as Dask, MPI, or OpenMP. A background in scientific or astronomical software projects or related fields is advantageous, along with experience in data analysis and processing.
