De functie
Wood is recruiting a Senior Thermal Process Engineer specialising in thermal design of fired and combustion systems within the energy sector. The role involves developing and reviewing thermal and process designs, conducting sizing calculations for auxiliary equipment, and supervising project team members. The engineer will stay current with technical advancements, provide solutions for specific project challenges, and support business development activities. They must have proven experience in thermal design and ratings for fired equipment, ideally in refining, chemicals, oil and gas, or LNG sectors, along with multi-national project execution. The position requires a chemical engineering degree, chartered status or equivalent, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards. The role demands balancing technical and commercial risks while seeking process improvements and innovative solutions.
