De functie
As a remote Cantonese interpreter, you facilitate Cantonese–English communication with precision and speed.
Operate in a quiet, secure home office and use glossaries and dictionaries to maintain high accuracy.
Qualifications include bilingual fluency in English and Cantonese with 2+ years of interpretation experience preferred.
Responsibilities include rendering correct concepts per established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions, and explaining cultural concepts when needed.
Technical requirements include Windows 10+, a computer, USB wired headset, webcam, reliable internet (min 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload), and a solid backdrop.
This remote role offers ongoing training, monthly payments, and a per-minute rate, with possible background checks depending on location.
