De functie
The Food Safety Auditor is responsible for conducting technical audits across various categories in retail environments, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. They will work closely with senior site personnel to schedule and perform audits both within the UK, Ireland, and overseas, which may involve international travel. The role involves preparing detailed audit reports, maintaining knowledge on food legislation, and supporting activities such as benchmarking and standards reviews. The ideal candidate will have a Food Science or similar qualification, extensive experience in food safety, and certification as a Lead Auditor. Skills include HACCP knowledge, factory audit experience, and a valid UK passport and driver's licence for travel. The position offers a salary from £50,000 to £65,000, with a car allowance, and operates Monday to Friday within a home-based setting.
