De functie
Senior Accountant role in Herefordshire, UK, offering variety, autonomy, and a supportive environment.
Prepare financial statements, tax computations, and VAT returns, and complete working papers to required standards.
Review the work of junior staff and provide constructive feedback while mentoring teammates.
Liaise with clients and external bodies such as HMRC, supporting a diverse client base across manufacturing, retail, and professional services.
Ideal candidate: part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA (AAT or QBE considered) with practice experience, strong attention to detail, and effective communication.
Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel; proactive, organised, and capable of managing workload with limited supervision.
