De functie
An Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Pivotal in Manchester is responsible for managing data ingestion pipelines, organising knowledge structures, and evaluating AI performance in a hybrid working environment. They assess and onboard new data sources, document data governance procedures, and maintain the knowledge base for Jarvis, the AI assistant. The role involves troubleshooting issues, tracing causes of inaccurate answers, and ensuring the continuous improvement of AI responses over time. The engineer will collaborate with the Innovation Lab team, and work on AI pipelines, source management, and performance metrics. Proficiency in Python, SQL, APIs and experience with LLM/RAG is essential, along with clear documentation skills. Knowledge of mortgage or financial sectors and GDPR is desirable.
