A company seeks a Key Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of key customers, fostering strong relationships and increasing sales through proactive account management and identifying growth opportunities. Candidates should have proven experience in account management, excellent negotiation and relationship skills, and familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of the builders' merchant, trade, DIY, or retail sectors is advantageous. The position offers autonomy, customer interaction, and opportunities to influence business growth, with occasional travel to customer sites. It is based primarily in Leighton Buzzard, with expectations for consistent performance and stakeholder engagement.
