De functie
A Multi Trade Plumber is responsible for carrying out domestic plumbing repairs and general maintenance in occupied social housing properties across Reading. They diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and faulty systems, as well as installing and replacing sanitary ware, pipework, and appliances. The role includes completing multi-skill repairs such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, painting, and decorating, alongside accurately managing workload using handheld devices linked to scheduling systems. Candidates should possess NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent, with experience in responsive maintenance and secondary trades. A full UK driving licence and willingness for out-of-hours duties are essential. The position offers ongoing training, safety support, and career development within a regulated social housing environment.
