De functie
An AI and Machine Learning Engineer designs, builds, and deploys intelligent, self-learning systems that automate processes and generate insights from data. They bridge the gap between data science and software engineering, creating robust, scalable AI solutions and deep learning applications. Responsibilities include researching, implementing, training, and retraining models using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, as well as collaborating with data engineers on data pipelines and preprocessing. They deploy models into production, build APIs for integration, monitor performance, and ensure ethical compliance. Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential, alongside continuous learning of the latest AI advancements. The role requires strong programming skills, knowledge of ML frameworks, mathematics, software architecture, and experience with cloud and MLOps tools.
