De functie
The role involves designing scalable systems to support high-impact research in quantitative finance, working with cutting-edge machine learning problems alongside researchers and engineers. Candidates will develop and implement solutions using off-the-shelf tools and custom code to advance the field. The position requires strong programming skills, experience with Python, PyTorch, and NumPy, and knowledge of advanced optimisation, HPC, profiling, and model inference techniques. Effective communication and collaboration are essential, as the role involves working both independently and within a team on complex research questions. A postgraduate qualification or notable success in data science competitions such as Kaggle is preferred; finance experience is not necessary.
