De functie
The role involves performing clinical authorisation, collaborating with healthcare professionals on complex infection cases, and supporting infection control initiatives. The successful candidate will provide microbiology and infection advice, contribute to clinical governance, and support UKHSA activities, working in a fully accredited laboratory environment. Candidates should hold a relevant qualification in Medical Microbiology and be registered on the Specialist Register or within six months of CCT. Experience in microbiology, infection prevention, and laboratory operations is essential, along with a commitment to education and research. The position offers flexible working options, with a mandatory presentation on demand management strategies during the interview process.
