De functie
A Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and homely environment across all areas within a care home for residents. They undertake tasks in bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, and dining rooms to ensure cleanliness and organisation, directly contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The role requires experience in cleaning or housekeeping, along with compassionate and caring qualities. Good communication and team-working abilities are essential, as well as flexibility to work in shifts including alternate weekends. The role involves working 15 hours per week from 9am to 2pm across three days. Technical skills include cleaning techniques, organisation, and adherence to safety standards.
