Legal Counsel – Leeds

The Legal Counsel Banking will provide legal advice on bridge lending, banking, and secured finance transactions, including drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents. They will manage transactions from instruction through to funding and drawdown, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. The role involves structuring transactions, advising on legal risks, and developing internal legal documentation and precedents. Building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and external advisers is essential while managing multiple complex matters efficiently. The position requires a solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE in banking and finance, skilled in drafting and negotiating finance documentation, and capable of balancing legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations in a fast-paced environment.
