Frontend Developer – Bristol

A remote Frontend Developer is sought to join a small, agile consultancy team on a contract basis, with a focus on delivering high-quality frontend solutions using React, JavaScript, and Node.js. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing responsive and maintainable frontend applications, collaborating with designers and backend developers to ensure high standards of UI/UX. They will build reusable components, integrate with backend services, and maintain code quality through documentation and testing. Mentoring junior developers and participating in agile ceremonies are key aspects of the role. The ideal applicant has at least three years' experience in frontend development, proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and familiarity with modern tooling. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential, with additional experience in TypeScript, testing frameworks, and CI/CD considered advantageous.
