Quality Assurance Tester – Norwich

The QA Tester owns and manages the end-to-end quality assurance strategy for digital products, collaborating closely with development teams of 3-5 members. They design detailed test plans, cases, and data to cover functional and non-functional aspects, performing thorough manual testing of user workflows and UI behaviours across web and API layers. The role requires developing and maintaining automated testing suites using frameworks like Postman, Pytest, Playwright, or Cypress, ensuring high code quality and early defect detection. The tester integrates testing into CI/CD pipelines, tracking defects with tools such as JIRA, and continuously refining testing processes. They advocate a quality-first approach within the team, mentoring on testing best practices and root cause analysis. The ideal candidate possesses strong experience in manual and automated testing, test design techniques, and has working knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and defect management.
