De functie
The Business Development Manager – Structural Steel oversees the sale of steel and concrete roofing decking systems to main contractors, sub-contractors, and architects. They conduct field sales, focusing on commercial projects with order values ranging from £10k to £1m, working closely with internal teams. The role requires experience in construction sales, preferably with steel or related products, and the ability to develop client relationships. Technical skills should include knowledge of steel systems, construction processes, and sales strategies within the industry. The candidate must be organised, commercially savvy, and autonomous in their work approach. This position offers a salary range of £45,000 to £50,000 plus bonus, with a company car or allowance, predominantly based in Birmingham.
