De functie

A senior Java backend developer is required to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. The role involves building containerised applications for deployment on platforms like OpenShift and integrating with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL. Candidates should have extensive experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and messaging technologies including Kafka and MQ. The position requires working collaboratively within an Agile environment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring system security, performance, and reliability. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, alongside containerisation skills, is essential. Additional expertise in BPMN, DMN, Python, or front-end technologies such as React is advantageous.
