De functie
A Data Analyst interprets data to support decision-making processes by working with various data sources, producing reports and visualisations, and translating findings into accessible insights. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including data, AI, software engineering, and delivery to develop practical solutions for clients. Their duties include data collection, cleaning, analysis, and documentation of analytical approaches, assumptions, and limitations to ensure transparency and reusability. The role requires proficiency in Excel, SQL, BI tools, and an understanding of data quality and governance practices. Experience with statistical techniques, data privacy, and secure data handling is essential, and familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or programming languages is desirable. Success is measured by accuracy, clarity, timely delivery of insights, and the ability to handle data quality issues proactively.
